You will be encouraged to use all of your superpowers to help everyone you see, and we will make sure you’re equipped with everything you need to do so. You will have adequate time with your clients, and be encouraged to help them in any way you can - not to rush people in and out.

Great. You will be encouraged and supported to find your area of podiatry to build and execute your skills. You will be given an annual allowance for CPD, as well as in house PD and mentorship. You will have weekly meetings with your mentor to help with challenges and support your growth. We will provide the arena for you to build your dream career (possible examples: paeds - support PD, kindergartens and school programs OR running - running PD and create running club and program). Choose your niche and we’ll back you 100%. Not sure what your area of growth should be? No worries! You’ll see a nice mix of cases and will have help with any challenges along the way.

You will be a part of a team of podiatrists, you will have regular contact with us all:

• Our team whatsapp group, we share cases and clinic updates and have good banter
• Our monthly team meetings - share updates, and PD

You’ll also be a part of the WHOLE team, heaps of allied health practitioners and awesome admin staff. You’ll work together with physios, EPs, myos, dietitians and our admin team to get the best clinical outcome AND provide a lovely experience for your clients. You’ll get to learn from the team, we love to help each other out - this can be through sitting in with another practitioner or just having a chat in the lunchroom (over a coffee from our espresso machine). You'll have fun and connect with a fun work team, we have free pilates, a running group and regularly head out for a beer, wine or kombucha together.

Kilmore and Wallan Podiatry is part of the thriving Kilmore Wellness Centre. There's now 31 of us in the team who enjoy each others company as we deliver exceptional health care in our great clinics in Kilmore and Wallan. 

Your position

We have a full time podiatry position ready to commence work. This position will suit an eager, engaged and personable podiatrist looking to see a varied demographic of clients in a supported and fun workplace.

The position is as an employee, which has the benefits of guaranteed income, personal and annual leave.

Your caseload will vary, with a mixture of primary care, interesting musculoskeletal cases, and feet belonging to all ages coming through. We're proud to be recognised and the leading podiatry (and allied health) clinic in the region, the go to place for all foot and ankle injuries.

As part of our team of podiatrists you’ll be working closely with our colleagues across physio, myotherapy and EP to lean into your expertise and deliver some great clinical outcomes. As a clinical team we’ll be sharing the wins and working through the challenges as they arise.

The hours are somewhat flexible. Your full time (38 hour week) workload can be spread across a combination of days to suit your lifestyle. There are some guide rails (time/day preferences) for us to work between which we can work out together. 

Our number one priority is personality and culture fit. We have a dedicated team who have years of clinical, education and teaching experience to support you in your professional life.

Training and mentoring to become the best podiatrist you can be is included. As such, this position can be tailored to a podiatrist finding your voice, consolidating and developing clinical skills. Weekly sessions with an experienced podiatrist to mentor and support you will ensure a rewarding career path.

Interests adjacent to clinical podiatry including specialisation, networking, content writing, social media, teaching and advocacy are encouraged to flourish within our team.

Your Package

The position is full time with the remuneration band of $65K to $75K. If you're further down the road in your podiatry career looking for a senior position we can tailor a remuneration (and employment package) to suit.

We add on allowances for professional and personal development on top of the salary band. We don’t set a limit for PD as long as it aligns with our core values, and we’ve not declined a PD request yet.

Location

Kilmore is a beautiful, progressive and thriving town. If you're commuting from any northern suburbs you'll be against traffic and in clinic in under 40 minutes. Known for great schools, people, and a strong sporting and equine pedigree there's plenty happening in and around town. Wallan is even closer to Melbourne (around 30 minutes) which has grown to be a go to destination for young families over the last 5 years. In both towns we have podiatry and the entire Wellness Centre catalogue of premium allied health services. We've also just opened our first pilates studio in Kilmore (where you'll be able to enjoy free pilates classes) which provides a great connection with our active clientele.
